It's Not What We Say That Counts…

I would like to take this opportunity to describe what an important and great job that Rock Solid Business Solutions has done for The Radix Wire Company over the last four years. They have helped reduce our freight cost by at least 10% and the most important is to bring high quality carriers for both inbound and outbound freight. This has allowed our company to operate better and to remove the selection of carriers on a day to day basis and chose from a group of carriers that they have selected for the company.

I recommend them to other companies for their expert knowledge in the freight business.

"Before we started using Rock Solid Corp, it was a real burden for our inside people to get freight quotes, handle damage claims, or simply track shipments to make sure they were on time. We distribute commercial lawn and landscape equipment from four different ware houses to 18 of the continental United States as well as Hawaii and Guam. "Applied Precision Systems supplies a variety of industrial equipment to the global automotive and other industries. In March of 2010 we contracted with Rock Solid Corporation to be our logistics source. Our first move was of great importance, a series of prototypes for a major new customer outside the US. The prototypes were developed and built on an extremely tight timeline and had to arrive at the customer location before Monday morning. We spoke to Rock Solid and told them under no circumstances could the shipment be late or we risked losing the customer and not being paid. In response, Rock Solid made a number of recommendations dealing with the method of shipment, customs arrangements, and the specific trucking company and individual driver. We followed their recommendations.

The shipment was picked-up on time. It crossed the border on time and arrived at the customer's security gate on time. The customer however failed to coordinate the delivery internally and the truck was refused entrance. Rock Solid recommended a driver known to be responsible, he called ahead and documented his activities. Further, Rock Solid made sure to use a driver who lived close to the delivery point. And Rock Solid tracked the shipment by telephone with the driver throughout the trip. We knew what was happening and positioned to respond because of their efforts. The delivery was made just in time. The customer acknowledged responsibility for the problem because Rock Solid had documented their activities and those of the driver.

Rock Solid's recommendations, attention to detail, and sense of urgency kept us in the game as a result we were able to impress our customer and win significantly more business."
